At $69, it’s one of the more affordable smart feeders. But does cheap mean unreliable? We tested it for 2 weeks with a very food-motivated tabby cat.

What We Loved
Setup took 3 minutes. Download app, connect to Wi-Fi, set schedule. No frustration, no manual-reading required.
The portion accuracy is impressive for the price. We measured 20 meals and portions were consistent within 1-2 kibbles each time.
Battery backup means your pet still eats if the power goes out. The feeder stores the schedule locally and runs on D batteries until power returns.
The app is genuinely good. Clean interface, reliable notifications when meals dispense, and easy schedule editing. Not what we expected at this price point.
What Could Be Better
No camera or mic. You can’t see or talk to your pet during meals. If that matters to you, look at the PETLIBRO Polar (same brand, higher price with camera).
The hopper lid isn’t airtight. If you live in a humid climate, kibble near the top may go stale after a week. We’d recommend refilling every 4-5 days rather than filling to max.
Cats can defeat it. Our test cat figured out she could paw food out of the dispenser chute. Not a flood of food, but a kibble or two per attempt. The optional chute lock ($8 accessory) fixes this.
